From June to September, the Dolomites offer ideal hiking conditions with diverse landscapes and breathtaking views. Early summer (June) brings mild temperatures of 15–25°C in valleys, while higher elevations remain cooler. July and August offer warm days, averaging 20–28°C in lower areas, with cooler mountain peaks. Occasional afternoon thunderstorms are common. September sees crisp mornings and pleasant daytime temperatures of 15–22°C, with fewer crowds and golden autumn hues beginning to appear. Weather can change rapidly, especially at higher altitudes, so layered clothing and rain protection are essential for a comfortable hiking experience.
